Reconstruction and improvement of Hamam Bair Park, Sliven
The project is a diploma thesis for the development of a park located on the southwestern outskirts of Sliven and covers an area of 36 hectares.
The park development project provides an opportunity for the development of a cultural and recreational center, which in turn will attract tourists and guests of the city and will help preserve local traditions and crafts.
The considered park territory can be generally divided into two parts: cultural-cognitive territory and park territory with free activities.
Thematic corners, viewing platforms, and monuments are designed in each zone, arranged in chronological order, from the lowest parts of the park to the top of the existing monument.
Each thematic corner carries a story that you can touch not only read. For example: in the thematic corner "Slavs and Proto-Bulgarians" there is a workshop for pottery and wooden vessels. The construction of outdoor classrooms, workshops, recreation areas, information boards, monuments, models, and elements of park architecture is envisaged in the various thematic sites.
In the park territory with free activities are designed two playgrounds - for children aged 3 to 12 years and the second - type of garden ropes, for children aged 7 to 12 years. A picnic and barbecue area has been designed near one of the playgrounds. A cafe, an outdoor gym, and a free sports area have also been designed, which in turn will allow for year-round use of the territory.
Through the reconstruction of the park, its development in cultural and educational orientation, as well as the creation of various types of areas and activities, provide an opportunity for innovative methods and training, to enrich culture and knowledge and preserve our traditions.
